My first piece of jewellery for this term is based on a bridge construction, which is made drom a material that is unkwown to my knowledge.

I will be focusing on structural jewellery for the next few weeks so be patient and be amazed! enjoy the start of my new adventure

Welcome back to the start of the last term....... I have started my new trend of blogs on 3d tiles which are amazing....This blog is just here to give you the idea (of WHAT a 3d tile is....)

You could say that this tile is derived from a skateboard ramp, because of those curves and the big dip between the two curves

I will be ending my Calatrava's series.. I have shown you some of his bridges,walkways and lofts.. I think that all his work is based on his some kind of organic feature yet added with that odd splice of structure which he tends to find in abstract shapes, animals and skeletal forms.

This piece comes from the brand name FANCY FOOD JEWELLERY!

I like this fork bracelet, because of the organic and free feeling you receive from the stylized contour lines as fork fingers. There is structure shown in the perfect mirror image of the vine like fork.

This beautiful building will be Calatrava's first residential building in the states....each cube is 45foot their are twelve of them. the core of this sturdy structure has the main elevator and the emergency stairs...His product is simplified and spaciously effective...innovative idea!

this hand made gold and silver ring, interests me because of it's resemblance of a man made bridge against the natural organic form of roots....which also gives us a sense of structure.

Interesting hey.....This a bridge that was designed through CALATRAVA a well renounced architect... Have a look at his bridges each one is unique in its own way

This is a well clean cut and designed piece...it definitlty resembles the technicles aspects of jewellery by the mechanical image that has been put on the plain band

Artist Statement

I have the love for structured designs and in jewellery design I find that satisfaction, with all the precise measurements and angles… It draws my mind in attention…I do not find my inspiration in images or the worldly objects I draw my inspiration from my music…If it’s a up funk beat then the creativity I receive from the music I would try to channel it into my jewellery pieces…The pace of the music also draws me in to how fast and hard I should be working. The soothing soul sounds of the HOUSE BEATS drive my determine when working and designing and especially MY CREATIVITY!
